I know I’m only 3 episodes in to Ken Burns’ Civil War documentary, but I’m still AMAZED the Union managed to win after General McLellan basically chicken-shitted the entire first year of the war… He had way more men, he won 6 out of 7 battles against Lee after Lee first took command, he even FOUND Lee’s battle plans, and he STILL backed down?
